Big Screen Entertainment Group Launches New Film Division for Medical Industry

Big Screen Entertainment Group (PINKSHEETS: BSEG) is pleased to announce the launching of an educational/promotional division geared towards producing medical training, promotional, marketing and commercial videos.

Big Screen's newest division produced its first series of medical education and procedural training films for Halt Medical Inc. and Dr. Bruce Lee, OB/GYN, a renowned fibroid specialist and inventor of the newly FDA-cleared medical device and procedure called the Acessa System. The Acessa procedure is a revolutionary, minimally invasive outpatient procedure for the treatment of uterine fibroids.

From concept through completion, the BSEG team guided Dr. Bruce Lee and the Halt team in the production of four training films used in the commercial launch of this award-winning medical device and much needed procedure.

"This is the first FDA-cleared medical device with the specific indication of treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids," says Halt co-founder Dr. Bruce Lee. "Gynecologists have long desired an outpatient, minimally invasive procedure to treat all uterine fibroids present no matter their location within the uterus. This procedure will help decrease the 200,000 hysterectomies performed each year for uterine fibroids and reduce the annual direct health care cost of $34 billion dollars attributed to uterine fibroids. Most importantly, Acessa provides women with a much needed alternative for the treatment of symptomatic fibroids."

"The efficient training of gynecologic surgeons to perform the Acessa procedure is essential to the goal of providing a safe and effective uterine sparing procedure for the millions of women who suffer from symptomatic uterine fibroids. We at Halt Medical would like to thank BSEG for the professional, efficient, and cost-effective way in which they have helped us reach our goal," added Dr. Lee.

These state of the art training films incorporated footage of actual surgical procedures and focused on the education of gynecologic surgeons, hospital personnel and patients. The step-by-step surgical training film has been become a very useful part the Halt Medical training program.

"With the expert team of filmmakers at BSEG, we were able to produce high quality, highly effective educational and procedural training films. These films are aiding medical professionals to perform radiofrequency ablation to destroy fibroids by applying energy through a small needle array while leaving normal tissue unaffected. "

BSEG's CEO Kimberley Kates oversaw the production of the Acessa training films. "Expanding BSEG's scope of production expertise into the world of medical training films is rewarding on many levels. As a woman, I value the importance of this amazing procedure that is minimally invasive and allows women the option of avoiding major surgery and a hysterectomy due to fibroids. It's been a great honor to work with Dr. Lee and the Halt team in the production of training films knowing that the work we all collaborated on is assisting in teaching doctors all over the world to perform the Acessa procedure," stated Ms. Kates. "BSEG is therefore making a tangible and meaningful contribution to improving women's health care."
